I would just like a National Championship Game where Ohio State or Florida State must prove that they are really the best team in college football. We won't get that if they play each other. It won't feel like a real championship game to me if the the SEC champ is not there.

I'm a Pac-12 guy, so I'm far from an SEC homer. Heck, I rooted for Ohio State the last two times they were in the National Championship Game.

I did want to see Oregon Bama but my Wildcats ruined that. Basically I want to see Oregon vs a traditional power.

Would love Ohio State - Auburn.

They would play right into Ohio State's strength defensively - the rushing game. Their passing offense is horrible. Meanwhile, Auburn's rush defense is pretty average. OSU would be hoisting the trophy with that matchup.

Ummm. Bama was giving up 91.3 yds per game rushing before this past weekend and Auburn put up almost 300 yds on them. Tell us again how Auburn is playing into OSU's strength?

Yeah, I was thinking Bama would be able to stop the run a little better than they did too. awwbun has a pretty good ground game.
