Well certainly regarding stature, he will never match the Golden Bear no matter the wins.

Earl said that Tiger would be big outside of golf one day and I believed it at the time. Kinda thought maybe politics or something but after his actions and resulting fall, I'm not so sure.

Why in the world would anyone in his position (even before the scandal) want to go into politics? He already has enough money to allow his great-great-great grandkids to be comfortable & probably more fame then he would like. Beyond playing golf he can simply go the route of other older golfers and rake in the cash via golf course design, clothing, equipment, etc. Easy money.

Meh. I've been hearing that ever since Tiger imploded.

Golden Bear > Tigger

In my OP...As soon as Tigger quits letting the "lil' guy" do the thinking for him, dumps Vonn and "focuses" on the task @ hand (GOLF) he'll start winning again...and I'm talking about majors, not just tourneys.

Maybe stature within the game, but he's long surpassed JN's stature as a worldwide public sports figure.

In terms of stature within the game...Jack will never trump Arnie, and Tiger will never trump Jack...Hank Aaron was (is?) the official HomeRun King, but Babe Ruth will forever be the most famous homerun hitter.

Right now...Tiger is not comfortable in the majors on the weekends you can see it in his putting...until he regains that, I'm not certain about him winning another major.

Tiger needs to go to another swing coach. His swing is awful. He does not have confidence - his timing and distance control is always off. That will happen when you are taught to move different body parts in different directions at the same time, and then have to somehow figure out how to get them all at impact at the right place and right time.

He needs to get off the roids. All those muscles are causing his tiny frame to break down.

Maybe. Speculative, but maybe. What I do know for sure though - is that his swing looks worse right now than I have ever seen it before. And I saw it first hand when I played against him when we were 17 years old. Yes, he beat me.

That could be from all the injuries he's had.

Jack, at Tigers age now, went on to win 5 more majors during his career. IF Tiger goes on to win the same amount of majors as Jack did, Woods would pass Jacks top major mark of 18 to 19 wins.

Tiger already has more whores. He should take pride in that.

Jack was healthy in those years, Woods is not, and most likely never will be.

IF we just went soley on this above then sure Tiger will surpass him.

However we can't and Tiger is too injured imo to surprise the record. Not to mention (as many people have said) the field is just too strong now a days and the days of players fearing Tiger in the field is over.

Tiger just shot 82 and has the jimmies when he gets over a fairly easy chip shot on the best conditioned golf courses out there.

He's toast

Remember Ian baker finch? He got the yips on short putts.

Same thing. This will get worse. It's a mental block.

The dumb fuck is trying too hard and is putting too much pressure on himself. Trust me.. I know - not about the yips, but the trying and pressure.

No, you have it all wrong. He'll be back, better than ever and will smash The Golden Bear's record.
