I like OP. He's just trollin' the people that get real sensitive about Wisconsin being in the conversation to begin with. They don't deserve to be in, most honest people acknowledge it, but there are a great many who want to be dishonest about it. Given the number of bullshits, he did a great job.

Nebraska for sure and Wisconsin has proven recruiting rankings to be bs. Also the new young coaches in the West are looking very promising with Jeff Brohm at Purdue, Fleck in Minnesota and Scott Frost with Nebraska.

It's all about coaching. Tennessee, and Florida have sucked without good coaches and the BIG had majority of the best HC's in the game and some of the best new young coaches as well. This is why the SEC sucks outside of 3-4 teams they can't find good coaches which is why nearly half were fired this year.

Just when has Nebraska or Wisconsin participated in the CFP? A better example for your argument would be Michigan State or Washington. And those don't prove recruiting rankings are BS either. Proves they have coaches that can take lesser talent and coach it up.

Maybe. I think you can go back in time to the BCS and discover the teams that played in those BCS Championship games were also teams that had top 15 recruiting classes for several years in a row.

While the scholarship limits do prevent talent hoarding to an extent, it takes a real special situation to overcome the talent disparity in many match ups.

Simply put, none of the playoff teams deserve this shit over us. We didn't lost to Syracuse or Iowa State. We didn't play in a conference with bowl losses. I may be a little intoxicated, but it's clear we deserve the title.

It would appear that the SEC conference schedule is not as difficult as it was made out to be. Big 10 schedule not as weak.

And of course, Alabama lost to a now 4 Loss team.

But I hear that next year Arkansas State and The Citadel will be ranked #1 and #2 so that Alabama has a chance at some quality wins and a direct path to the playoff. A loss to The Citadel could hurt but not if it is the only loss.
After all, those SEC middle and lower teams are so much tougher than the Big 10. An do not forget the SEC teams only lose bowl games because they are disinterested if they are not the ones in the playoff.​

Yesterday was only the second time all year our opponent was closer than eight points against us in the fourth quarter.

There's no "what if" involved. We just beat your best win on their home field. Our loss was to a team better than any team you played all year. You lost to god damn Syracuse. SYRACUSE. And you want to talk shit about my team? We'll see what happens when you play a team as good as Ohio State tomorrow. Something tells me it won't be as pretty as a 27-21 loss.

I am pumped about this win too, but let's calm down a bit. Wisconsin had their chance, played a close game and lost. Wisconsin had a hell of a year and had a great team, but we should not be national champs.

Alabama basically put themselves at an advantage by failing to win their division in the SEC......which is why only Conference Champions should be allowed in the 4 team playoff (Ohio St Shouldnt have been there last year either)

Wisconsin basically got boned by having to play a extra game against a top 5 opponent while Bama sat at home because they failed to win their division, and got more time to get their beat up roster healthy for the playoff.
