Probably because I don't always keep great tabs on a semi-troll thread I made 6 months ago. I have addressed this before; the thread wasn't meant to be taken that seriously.

And also lol @ guys telling me I'm already wrong. The guy has barely half a season under his belt. Wasn't Vince Young was rookie of the year once upon a time. I have said multiple times now that I have nothing against this Murray kid. But let's give him another year before we decide he was truly worthy of a #1 pick plus other assets in a trade.

I readily admit I called bust when he was drafted. That prediction is not looking accurate right now, but I've seen enough season one hype turn to disappointment to completely back off.

I do think we have to wait a while to see how this all works out. Gonna be some bumps in the road for sure as there is with any young QB. But I do see some things with this kid that impress me. He doesn't turn the ball over a lot which most young guys struggle with early trying to do too much. He has some poise back there and doesn't appear to be rattled easily. And when he takes off and runs, he knows how to protect himself. What I saw yesterday was a kid with something between the ears. I think he might be ahead of the curve in that respect. Again, time will tell but the Cards are more competitive than anybody thought they will be and this kid has played well so far. Long way to go but they are better with him than they were with Rosen.

Yes it is hard to believe no starters are out from injury this year and with a week off for bye should be ready to go hopefully. Just have to hope they show up and play better than the last trip to California a few weeks back against the Chargers because they did not show up at all.
