Wisconsin's Johnathan Taylor wins his 6th Big Ten freshman of the week. OSU's Mike Weber gets co-offensive player of the week with Minnys QB.

The #B1G Co-Defensive Players of the Week are @HawkeyeFootball DB Josh Jackson and @BadgerFootball LB Leon Jacobs

Big Ten Players of the Week: Ohio State RB Mike Weber, Iowa CB Josh Jackson among winners

That must be a record for Taylor. Jacobs aka Megatron is an animal and Jackson is a future pro bowl player in the NFL.

How bad was UW football from the mid 60's to the mid 90's? I can tell you based on the AFLAC trivia from the game. For the first time since 1967 UW is above .500 in Big 10 football. Shit...I bet most of you weren't born yet and I was 2...

Yup...all time vs Big10... we sucked so damn bad in the mid 80's when I was there...it was great fun to be in the stands...but the game was the least fun part of it...

I started school there in the fall of '69. Broke the losing streak. Woo-hoo

I bet they are the police force that arrests college kids for "public intoxication" during that first week back to school (syllabus week)
The last ticket that LJ Scott received, was after he fixed his suspended license issues, leaving the courthouse, but obviously hadn't gotten his renewed license in the mail yet.

I had a friend who was in a frat in Madison in the early 80s. It was a bigger frat. One of his frat brothers lived in upper MI and his mother was in a wheelchair. They used to fly her in for every home football and hockey game and put a keg of beer under the wheelchair, which they covered with a blanket. She never got searched and they had beer at every game.

We'd usually carry a flask or a couple beers in our coats...even when they found it on us they'd give us some shit...then let us in with it...we'd go to the gates that were manned by students and they didn't care...it was about partying back then, not sports

Maybe he watched a lot of Rugrats as a kid?

I just got thinking, has there been a player to receive one of these weekly awards that played for a team that lost that week?
