i watched the maryland game a couple weeks ago and never thought we'd have this kind of problem with them

Elliott is a total stud.

That team is on the way back.

I'm really glad this doesn't ruin our playoff hopes, but we're gonna need to play much better than this going forward if we want to have a shot

SC gets a massive challenge, and somehow guts it out.

Texas found some leaders to move forward. In a loss you sometimes find your best. Texas found their best tonight and they'll get even better as the year moves forward. I wouldn't want to play those guys in November. (Well, hell, who am I kidding, I wouldn't want my team to play a number of high school teams in November).

Ehlinger gives UT a chance to win moving forward. The kid has guts, toughness and looks game smart. Their D looked impressive, spending much of the night harassing Darnold.
I haven't seen much of Darnold, but what I saw tonight didn't impress me as one of the front runners for Heisman. Not much of a run game either. Maybe just an off night?

SC gets the win, but I think this game did more for UT.

Man that is a tough one to swallow. A win over USC could have really changed the season. But, I'm not really one for moral victories, but I'm proud of the team. They played their ass off, on the road, with tons of adversity and no real veteran leadership on offense. You gotta give USC credit, they made plays when they had to and got the win. Sucks...
