I mean that puts the game away, but this offense needs some work.
Ben Cleveland being out hurts, so did losing a first rounder in Isaiah Wynn, but these are 5 stars replacing them. I get that it's gonna take some time for the new faces, and guys playing new positions to gel, but that last drive was the first time they've showed up all game.
I'm hoping they can gel and improve as the season goes on like they did last season, but this has been pretty frustrating to watch
And another thing I've noticed, any home run TDs are gonna have to come via the passing game, Swift is a bit banged up, and he's explosive when healthy, and Cook can be, but he doesn't get many touches. Until Swift gets back to full speed, Holyfield and Herrien are both power backs that really don't have home run ability.
And another rushing TD for Fields makes it 38-12, which is a more respectable score, but it's such a misleading score for how bad we played today, but people will just look at the final score and keep ranking us second.
Time for kneel downs. Team played shitty again, but I guess a win is a win.
Also gotta hand it to Jeremy Pruitt. He's already an improvement over Butch Jones. Down 24-0, a Butch Jones lead team is gonna quit playing. They were outmanned, but Tennessee kept fighting the entire game.
Yall fought hard @WestEndVol . Never stopped playing. Had the talent been equal, yall would have had this one, because yall had more fight than we did.
