I have a Nissan Murano. Love it. Drives more like a car than any other SUV I've driven.

no way you get a Q7 in your budget.

Eventually I will be getting rid of my 2008 Nissan Altima SE. Currently has almost 170K on it. I live in the Boston area, so I know can't really get anything "big" but I was thinking about getting some sort of SUV.

Now my ideal vehicle would be a F-150 but that isn't going to happen so the next logical choice is an SUV.

So what say you?
4 runners are tanks.

Can't go wrong with 4Runner. Every day I wish I had chosen that over a Pilot. :L

Not 100% sure on all of that list, but I THINK the 4Runner is the only body-on-frame SUV up there. So that adds weight but also makes it much, much more durable.
youre right.

i have a friend who has 280k on his 2002. the only problem is they start to rot out after 150k if you dont care for it properly.

my favorite rental was always the Chrysler 300c AWD. Though I don't think they make the C in AWD anymore.

Ok. So I feel the need to post this again.
SUV's are one step above Mini Vans.
Get this and be happy.

Have you thought about a Suburu? The Outback or Forester is an outstanding vehicle. They are all AWD, hold their resale value, and are among the best for safety ratingsmacross the board. I don't own one myself, but have many friends who love them and I have test driven the Outback and loved it. I will probably buy one eventually. I like not having a car payment. My current vehicle is the Hyundai Sante Fe Sport and that is a very nice ride as well. Hope this helps?

I have thought about a Suburu my uncle has them and loves em! But there not really for me but if price is right perhaps I might take a look

Not sure what Q7 TDIs are going for, but would expect after the emissions scandal they can be had for your budget. My wife's parents just sold theirs back to Audi and it drove perfectly fine and had 135k on it.

A new will probably put you at 30k + depending on the features you get? Like I said, they hold their resale value. Suburu rarely ever has any incentives( rebates). Financing they will run some decent offers, but won't budge on the price.

I think the new body style on the Jeep Compass is pretty nice looking.

I own a grand cherokee overland. I probably won't buy another Jeep.

I have a Cherokee Trailhawk. I like it. Long time ago I had a Wrangler, which was badass, but impractical for me now.

I’d get another Jeep.

We just got a Chevy Equinox.....nice vehicle, nice comfort, my only downside, and something I didn't even think about, is the gas tank is only about 12 gallons....the 2018's body style more stream lined with a few tweaks.
