Absolutely . NE is loaded. Atlanta and NE are easily the 2 best rosters in the league . You can start debating at 3 but the top 2 are clear. Personally I'd have had NE number 1 because they're the champs and they added some great pieces but the top 2 are pretty inarguable unless you don't really know football

ESPN was very careful to not say that the Falcons were the best team or would have the best record. They say that on paper they have the best roster. I'm not sure of their analysis just because 2016 was an excellent year through 2-2/3 of the Super Bowl. The weird part is 18 guys who played at least one game on defense. So what? My guess is that there are teams that had at least 25 guys who played one game on defense. More important is how many guys played every down on offense or defense.

I would say that Tampa Bay may have an argument, maybe the Cowboys, even the Seahawks. A knowledgeable football person can make arguments for their favorite team and 31 other teams' fans will contradict them......

For argument sake I'd even throw Oakland into the mix. If beastmode is 3/4 of his old self they have a lot of solid talent throughout the line up.

After that I'd go Tampa, Seattle , Green Bay

If my recollection is correct they are 28th in 2012-2016 draft AV. Have made some shrewd moves in FA but recent drafts haven't been top notch for the most part. That's a bit harsh I think even with a QB situation that doesn't pass a smell test.

Then again, they're projected to be the 2nd worst team in the AFC according to FO if I recall.

Third most talent is a reach. However the Titians starting QB missed 4 games and the Titians still won 9 games. So if they get a full season out of Mariota with the additions of the rookies I can see them winning more games this year.
