Westbrook has to be Westbrook and thst showed against the Warriors. I have never been a Donovan fan and in my opinion it’s time for him to go.

OKC can't be successful that way.
They could be but unfortunately, RW can't change.
Also their shots are pretty even. Someone need to take a back seat IMO. You can't have all 3 avg just about the same amount of shots. In Miami, Bosh took the back seat and only got between 12-14 shots per game. In Cleveland, Love took a back seat.
Melo and George are both avg 17 shots. West avg 19 shots. Melo shots per game should probably be closer to 13 or 14 IMO
Asking someone to change their entire style of play in his 10th year in the league isn't smart. Russ is who he is. He's not going to turn into some pass first PG in year 10. They would be even a bigger failure if they went that route.
They actually need Russ to be himself in order to be successful as we saw Wed vs the Warriors. He's too worried about George and Melo feelings at the moment.

I agree with the first part, but I think Russ should be the one with the fewest shots and be like a super Jason Kidd. The problem isn't that Melo is along a lot of shots, it is that many of them are coming off ISOs where he is creating his own offense.
I say let Russ create everything, but he needs to aggressively create scoring chances for the other 2, especially Melo who really shouldn't be creating for himself on that team.

RW should take 13-15 FGA's and let Melo and PG get 18-19.
That doesn't mean RW has to take a backseat because in the 4th quarter, he'd be the go to guy in a close game.
RW does other things other than scoring.....Melo not so much.
No way in hell should Melo be getting 18 or 19 shots at this point of his career. He isn't that good anymore. He is a 3rd option. There is a reason why the Knicks looked like shit with him as option #1 attempting 18-19 shots per game.

And as they showed vs the Mavs?
It is an 82 game season. Every team will have a stinker or 2 against a bad team.
He was the man last year......how'd that turn out?
They'll never take a 2nd round pick for pg13. You're on drugs.
Someone who think they can win it all this season with George will risk it all would give OKC a much better deal than anything the lakers can offer them
