Not sure exactly why a lot local guys pretend he Jerry has some cache or deserves the respect that guys who have accomplished deserve. Or the he is going to be a scapegoat. If he is going to get fired that means he would’ve missed the playoffs again. Dude is lucky he still has a job after he made the Mariners the laughing stock of the sport with his post season presser.

My thoughts exactly. Even if our cheap ass owners restrict his payroll, there are still a lot of teams with less payroll better than us. History has proven that giving Dipoto money does not insure a championship team. I know this because he has never had a championship team and he has had top payroll teams.

That’s what the Lockout guys were complaining about, that Jerry didn’t get a fair shot because Moreno just wanted to spend money. But then they say now he has to worth with cheap ass owners. I’m not going to defend the ownership but it’s not like they are the A’s or Rays or Cleveland.
