A very talented young man, with an amazing upside / ceiling. BUT… he’s got some major head case issues.

But I believe Atlanta took a chance on him, of course for the potential that he has but with their stacked lineup , all they really need him to do is hit: .240 drive in maybe 70 runs and hit 15+ HRs and play a solid outfield.

All of which he’s easily capable of doing given 500 or so at bats and staying healthy

Kelenic is in the best place he can possibly be. He should see a lot of fastballs this year because pitchers will try to pitch around just about everyone else in Atlanta's lineup. He has more lineup protection right now than he'll probably ever have in his career again. So, if he can't cut it this year, then he may as well sneak off to some low profile/low expectations place like Kansas City or Pittsburgh or Oakland/Las Vegas. Or try his luck in the thin air in Colorado.

Yeah they ruined the Seattle Center. It was cool with rides and they should have taken that deal with disney instead of doing what have with the rest of the place. I do like climate pledge though, I've been to a couple of Kraken games and it's a great close up view from anywhere. I took light rail to westlake then the monorail so it wasn't too bad.

The Braves picked up Adam Duvall today and said he would platoon with Kelenic. So, just one month into spring training and Kelenic has already lost part of the leftfield starting job that the Braves GM said was exclusively his when they acquired him in December.

Thru 34 at bats this spring, Kelenic is slashing .088/.184/.088/.272

I feel bad for the kid. He is in the absolute best situation he can possibly be in. There is no hole in that Braves lineup. If you have to pitch around someone to get to a guy you can throw fastballs to, it's Kelenic. In that lineup, he would probably see more fastball in the strike zone than any other hitter in MLB. But, the kid is his own worst enemy. He over-thinks everything.

He needs to go to some low profile, low expectation place, where he feels no pressure to produce. Pittsburgh. KC. Oakland. etc
