Realistically IMO there are only 5 to watch. Cole Young, Ryan Bliss, Blake Hunt, Harry Ford and Tyler Locklear. Ford is probably auditioning for other teams. Hunt is a big one because Zavala should have a short leash if he is a defense only catcher. Young, Bliss and Locklear are basically playing for if Urias/Rojas/France are available at the deadline.

I've received word from a source that #Mariners prospect Cole Phillips, acquired in the Jarred Kelenic trade with the Braves in December, underwent a second Tommy John surgery a few weeks ago and is expected to miss the entirety of the 2024 season as well as a portion of 2025.

The #Mariners clearly wanted to forge some relationship with the core of this team. Rather it’s constantly calling Cal, going fishing with Luis, hanging out in Julio’s home town, there’s clearly been an attempt from management to meet players where they’re at. Good

Polanco a car 269 bat ave 270.good enough..
Both are not as good on defense as urias.

Then Crawford...??..that is good.

( Raley is backup .1b..so finally..France has some relief...it makes a difference)
