I wouldn't exactly say TCU has superior OOC competition. Arkansas might be the worst team in the SEC. I mean, even South Carolina beat em like a drum. I guess we'll find out who holds that crown when they play Mizzou. Other than that, it's SMU and an FCS opponent.

I see the data. Both teams are undefeated, and from what I've seen, I think Wisconsin is the better team.

I ranked Stanford but easily could have had them unranked . Their losses look worse every week and they still have no great wins anyone ranking then higher than 22-25 is clearly not watching them play

Sure. I'm not even confident they're very good with him . Loss to a mediocre SDSU, blowm out by USC. Their best win is a 3 point win over a decent Utah team. I rcpect Stanford to lose 2 or 3 more games but for now I'll rank them only because the pickings are slim at the bottom

I have TCU ahead of Wisconsin but for those that don't I would imagine you rank Wisky ahead of TCU for the same reason people have Clemson ahead of ND, Ohio State ahead of Michigan State or Stanford ahead of Iowa St.. better recent track record . Wisky has been a very very good program consistently for going on 20 years . TCU has had some great years and some mediocre years . Even though you're not supposed to carry prior seasons results over it's tough , as a human being , not to do so.

...and TCU beat Wisky in the Rose Bowl when they were still a G5 team IIRC. But, that was a lifetime ago...or 2010.

Yep . One of the Frogs great years . My point was consistency though especially recent historical success.

Since 2000, TCU has the better winning %, I get that they were a G5 team for 65% of that, but since they joined the Big 12 in 2012 they have more top 10 finishes than Wisconsin does in that same time frame.

Sure but I'm speaking consistency. The Badgers are a top 25 team year in and year out. That plays well with pollsters . There are a few teams who have great years every 3 or 4 but aren't top 25 on the regular ( I know this all too well lol ). Bdgers do both. The occasional great year but win 8/9/10 the other years as well

I know. I'm going off of how they've played recently. They also barely won at home, and that was after needing a miraculous 3 TD comeback in the 4th quarter. That game didn't prove definitively at all that Wazzou is better.

We certainly proved that we were definitively worse than them by losing that 3 TD lead, an epic chokejob by us that proved we were not better than them

While they got crushed by Cal, it was on the road after some big wins

We on the other hand got absolutely destroyed...at home...by Virginia, we had that game between a game against New Mexico and a bye week....what were we looking forward to there?? We have no excuses for that loss
