I noticed the only thing Patriots fans were interested in was likes and follows on their social media. Instead of cheering the banner revealing, 99.99% of the stadium had both hands on their phones as they live streamed and took pictures for their friends to know they were at the stadium.

That stadium had ZERO life the entire game.

They probably just went to the game for shopping and attention on social media.
yeah, i will be the first to admit we have become spoiled here. foxboro used to be a crowd advantage...

not gillette.

I was pretty surprised because I am used to that stadium being lit up.
it really hasnt been tho. gillette is one of the quieter stadiums in football now.

and it sucks.

I didn't realize that. I guess the highlight has been in the postseason?

Maybe I was right about the whole mall thing hahaha
we used to be underdog fans of a shit team who started winning. now those same fans who had young kids...theyre grown..and winning is all they know.

no fire at all. no pain. no suffering. they didnt have blackouts, 1-15 seasons or hoping tommy hodson could throw a football.

Fucking fed with a silver spoon lol. It's like being a Cardinals fan - not many of them are aware of the early and mid 90s.

Okay maybe that doesn't sound as bad as the period of futility the Patriots had.

Haha, I was just talking about Storyland the other day with a friend of mine. I went as a kid, but got off the schneid when my kids were young because my folks took them camping up north and brought them there.

I prefer 6 Gun City.

The Old Man was cool.

Went to Storyland this summer for my son's birthday. Not bad, got 2 days of passes and he had a blast. I went to Six Gun City when I was kid and I'll never step foot in that place again. It's such crap.

I liked 6 Gun City when I went, but I was probably 7 or 8 and that was about 50 years ago.

I think I was 10 or 11 when we went. It's been a running joke in my family for a while about the time we went there. I don't know when the last time I was up that far north though. Usually stay in either Jackson or Lincoln, depending on if we are doing stuff with the kids or hiking Lafayette/Cannon.

i forget which one...in NH...they have train rides where the train got hijacked by outlaws. one of my worst childhood memories. some guy jumps on a moving train next to me, and points a gun at me and yells "this is a stick up".

Aint it Sullivan/Shaefer stadium was the dump but crowds were real football fans that watched the team having dreadful seasons. I would go as a teenager and get drunk with my brothers so I would forget the game and pain
