Is that why you guys started the season with one QB then switched after a couple quarters?
It's amazing what a difference a QB that doesn't go three and out. Or throw a pick every drive makes. Browne wasn't just killing the SC offense. But the defense too. By keeping them on the field too long. Darnold extends plays and drives. And that poise is unbelievable. Looking forward to next season

Sam Darnold .... SC also defeated 2 conference champions this year. Gotta give Helton a lot of credit great seadon after the rough start. In his first full year as HC. And Darnold was extremely impressive. Kid is high skill and very professional on the field .I'm liking their future.

Also it appears browning was injured and requires surgery following the ASU game. He was healthy against SC

Yeah, you're right...also Western Michigan, Texas and Notre Dame isn't exactly conducive to 3 losses.

I agree SC's schedule isn't as strong as it normally is next year. But they will be working without a bye week next year. And the PAC is very unpredictable. I do think Bama would have beaten SC evenwith Datnold starting. But I do also think it would have been a closer game. I do hope to see y'all in the play offs next year tho. I've got a lot of respect for Bama y'all are blue bloods for good reason

How have you been Roll Tide ?

Texas was scheduled about ten years ago. Who knew they would be this bad and also Notre Dame. Maybe Chattanooga had an opening. lol

52-6 says yep.

Except we would have beat you even without playing offense.

The BCS system was a joke and a flawed system, that is why it is no longer around.

Funny because it would have been gone about 10 years earlier if not for the Pac12.

1956 and 1966 were poll era championships. AP and Coaches titles are legit in that era.

I just made up two years off the top of my head. I have no idea who did what or who was crowned and I have no interest in it. lol

It doesn't matter what year you cited directly, it's about what era they fall in.

Pre-1936 = Math Poll era
1936-1997 = Poll era
1997-2013 = BCS era
2014-Present = Playoff era

Yeah what's your point? The BCS was a flawed system and is no longer in existence. The AP is still around and handing out their National Championship trophies every year.

So the BCS is flawed, but the AP is legit.

Some how I doubt Blake Barnett thought it would be his only start of the season.

Ok, well you be sure to let Saban know he was wrong when he said the start and 2 series was by design.

If Washington St had the same talent pretty much highlights you're in a fantasy world looking for ways to justify a position you want to have, but can't actually support.

At any rate, the stats I linked to are adjusted for opponent difficulty and your argument has no basis in reality - before your talent excuse. Well no shit teams would be better if they had more talent, that doesn't mean they are better.

You said kiffin with more talent was better than leach with less talent because stats. Ignoring one coach had better players.

So no flaw in the lack of defense in the Pac 12?

It's the same as crap offenses in the SEC. Im sure there's bad defenses in the PAC that have inflated adjusted stats because they do less bad against their schedules. The lack of quality defense is why Washington State is behind Alabama despite having better statistics in every. Single. Category. Except for effenciency that 4down quoted
