lol. To be honest I kinda laugh at those arguments, which team should have been awarded the tile in 1956 or 1966. If you werent a fan then and didn't see the games who the fuck cares. I was at the Orange Bowl when USC played Oklahoma and saw how much better USC was so I care about that.

1956 and 1966 were poll era championships. AP and Coaches titles are legit in that era.

Well the BCS is no longer and the AP still gives out their National Championship thophy.

If the BCS system wasn't a joke. We wouldn't have finally gone to avpmay off system. While the committee needs work on their process. It is an upgrade from CCG's heavily influenced by coaches polls. The worst poll of them all.way too much bias and politics

Sam Darnold .... SC also defeated 2 conference champions this year. Gotta give Helton a lot of credit great seadon after the rough start. In his first full year as HC. And Darnold was extremely impressive. Kid is high skill and very professional on the field .I'm liking their future.

Also it appears browning was injured and requires surgery following the ASU game. He was healthy against SC

Yeah seems like non SC fans should revisit the SC season. Helton had to play Browne it was a risk he had to take with the threat of transfer. Calling him a bust and moving on was a great move. They have the right QB now and browne well thank god he's in Pittsburgh now. The BCS system was a joke. Too much weight held on a biased coaches poll. The committee may not be perfect but I think they get there.And expand to at least 6 teams. They should scrap the coaches poll altogether tbh. Too much influence and theres no way it can be pure. Thats been abused on multiple occasions. Most notarially to keep oklahoma state out of the BCS CCG
