Exactly. But in that case it's "if only peppers, butt and Speight not been injured". Given how close that game was, it's not far fetched to think they might have had an impact.

It could have been worse. Instead of missing a game they were contemplating giving them a ride along with a cop for a day ,some community service ( handing out food and drinks at the senior bingo night) and a 5 hour class on how disappointing everyone is. But the school decided that was just too barbaric and gave them a game suspension instead.

I said that would happen because that's what we believe and say. The prediction comes from experience. If Michigan wins, Florida fans will forever say they were without their best player -- just as we do with that FSU loss last year.
