as was Kaepernick, who actually had worse numbers than Russell today

Seattle won at home, SF won at home

they split, get a grip

Not surprisingly you missed my point.

Now if only the Giants could beat the Cheathawks at home, and the Cardinals could pull off a miricale in Seattle... That NO game stings even more now...

Cardinals would never win in Seattle if the game mattered anyway.

Ok, then maybe the Rams... If those asshose could have scored on 1 if those 4 goal line plays to end their last game, we'd be right in the division hunt also...

#55 for the Seahawks is a flopping bitch. I only saw the guy on a few plays…but on all of them he was crying.

Don't forget that Smith guy that plays QB for the Chiefs....

just sayin'

what has he done to warrent MVP talk? he isn't the reason they are winning,m he is having the dictionary definition of a below average season.

Every 49er fan knows he can win on a team with a good running offense and elite D. If he is MVP for cheif's he should have been MVP many other years, cause this season is nothing new or impressive from him.

OT: without the beard, Brian Jennings looks great for 37. He looks like he's in his 20s.

My favorite quote came from the Seattle GDT:

"God dammit! Can this guy just retire?????????" Seattle Poster after Gore 51 yard breakout

Same argument can be made for Wilson...and even for Manning to a certain degree.
And he (Smith) is having a better year to this point than Kaep.

Well yes they can also win with a good D and running game, but they are a big part of their team offensive success, much more so than Alex is in KC. Alex is in the middle or bottom of most important passing categories. Comparing what Alex has done to either Wilson or Manning is kind laughable.

Alex has the story for the media sensation, but he is far from MVP.

just caught the edit...So having more passing yards than keap is all it takes to be MVP. Seems like your standard is much lower than mine.

nah..don't get me wrong....I like kaep and smith..and even wilson.....but if anyone wants to put them in the mvp talk w/ the likes of manning, dalton and brees....I wouldn't disagree, but also knowing very well they'd be longshots against the latter 3.

How is Smith having a better year? They're either about the same or Kaep is having a slightly better year?
