I think he is. Hackett wasn't great but Russell Wilson would have been the worst QB last season if not for Zach Wilson and Watson. Russ is a full on diva and Sean Payton has gone mental just hitting people with strays out of nowhere for no reason.

It should tell you something that a team played with more fire and determination in 2 games for a 67 year old interim head coach who was mainly a special teams coordinator for the past 25 years than they did for Hackett in 15 games.

I don't think any first time HC could have succeeded with Russ last year. Every Broncos game I had the misfortune of watching for some reason because they played so many god damn primetime games was just excruciating bad play all game by Wilson. He was horrific. There was no other team in the NFL I enjoyed watching less last season than the Denver Broncos and that is because Russell Wilson was so awful meanwhile the defense was good enough to just make it awful for both offenses all game long only in the end Russ would find a way to blow it in big shit master fashion.
