You can't disregard the tape. That's how this game goes.... One of those refs made a bad call, but the tape will NEVER indisputably verify either side, so the call on the field stands as a TD.

If the regular refs did the same thing and it went to the tape, they wouldn't have overturned it either/

Getting way off topic here. This thread is about Seahawks vs Cowboys this Sunday. I could give a shit about some play that happened two seasons ago, early in the season and had no impact on the playoffs that year.

Both of you need to read the link given and actually read the rule for simultaneous catch. If you think one handed catches are not control or possession I have a bridge in Arizona for you.

The only problem here is that it was not a simultaneous catch, the Packer defender clearly had the ball and tate put his arm around it after the play was essentially over, the virgin refs didn't know what to do so they called it a simultaneous catch

I didn't realize by bringing up the Fail Mary Pass that I'd get such a negative response. It must be like pulling a scab off an old wound.

You could not tell me the significant portion of the rule without looking it up. You also could not then justify the Miles Austin catch since it was virtually the same. Cromartie had both his arms around the ball first, but Mile had one arm in there and as they rolled Miles came away with it.
