I cool with it, he looked good against us. He isn't a vet back up, but based on what I seen he looks like he can be developed nicely.

That's a tough one. Harbaugh has surprised me a couple times already. I was a little surprised we kept two FB's. I would guess Tukuafu, Norris, or one of the LB's (not sure which one).

I agree. Part of what makes this interesting to me (if the reports are accurate) is his age. All things considered, I was impressed with his effort against us.

Great news about Tolzien; I'm excited about this pickup by the Niners. I was surprised the Chargers let him go.

Another player the Chargers cut we should look at is WR Seyi Ajirotutu; he looked good late last season.

The complicating piece with Norris is he and Gore are extremely close. It's a business and I wouldn't let it affect my decision, but who knows.

Also, how long do we have to cut someone? Is it immediate or do we have X hours?

Tolzien is a cool customer. I'm surprised that he was cut, I heard he was doing well. Good move for the 'Niners though, he'll give them some security in the long run. Doesn't have a big arm, but he has a lighting fast release.

yes he was...but I later heard "it wasn't that serious". I never heard an official diagnosis. I assume "he's working through something".
