Same with Norm MacDonald... Fired... But then they brought him back for guest appearances. Lorne Michaels is usually pretty good about burying the hatchet.

If they can get Michaels money he will bury the hatchet. But then again people are pretty stubborn and it all could depend upon how they were fired if someone ever comes back, regardless of what Michaels does.

True... He probably hates the producers more than Michaels.

At least in Norm's case, I remember the producers found him too vulgar and pressured Lorne into firing him. Michaels advocated for him to stay for months before finally letting him go.

Anybody watch it? Pretty good show. Then again, that's a hard thing to fuck up. The Eddie Murphy thing was a ripoff though. He came out for like 90 seconds and didn't say shit. He looked like someone held him at gunpoint and forced him to appear.

Best sketch was Celebrity Jeopardy and the long awaited return of Turd Ferguson.

Yep....good stuff. SNL is an institution...and it rarely disappointed.
I've been watching that show since the 1st season, when I was still a teenager.
So many memories through the laughter & tears.
