Saints will not make HC Sean Payton available to other teams at this time, per source.

He would have been a good choice but at least the Fins will have all of their draft picks. There are other coaches to choose from still.

I bet that no one even offered a second for him. Not saying he's a bad coach but the price was too high. Glad the Fins didn't give up a pick.

That's probably what happened. Teams know there are some good coaches available so they have choices. Plus Payton probably really wanted to stay in New Orleans. He's been there for more than a decade.

I been saying it many times - doesn't matter who the coach is, unless Lombardi or Shula are coming back - no coach is worth giving up draft picks over - the Dolphins are in no position to be giving up draft picks at this point for a coach
