I'd have to agree, '06Serious question. When is the last time Ohio State was not only expected to win but win big in an OOC (bowl or otherwise) game? I was trying to think back and my gut is telling me the 2006 Natty... (didn't get a good feeling there) Am I missing any in between there?
Never once did I think we would steamroll VT.. They seem to matchup well with us, at least that killer defense they have. I think we still win, but a close game of 23-17.After seeing all these openers so far I am 90% sure this is a close game. Our offense just won't be clicking at the levels of last year just yet and defenses have dominated so far b/c the offenses are behind week 1.
This game plays well for VT but I still think we ooze enough talent to win be two scores or one of we commit turnovers.
This VT team will be much better than last year and lane will be rocking, should be a great test for our boys!
I was all juiced up on revenge game and the way we ended last year but further examination shows it'll be much closerNever once did I think we would steamroll VT.. They seem to matchup well with us, at least that killer defense they have. I think we still win, but a close game of 23-17.
I'm afraid of the hangover effect. These are still college kids. Granted, we have the best coach around to keep these guys focused, but the WR position is going to be key in this game. Can Brax break apart coverage from the physical corners? Michael Thomas and Kendall Fuller is going to be the highlight of the night. These two guys are high on the radar for NFL scouts. I know Philly will be interested in Fuller.I was all juiced up on revenge game and the way we ended last year but further examination shows it'll be much closer
