Fact
Fact
He totally deserves every dime.
Or we understand perfectly and are still going to take shots at how much Harbaugh makes with how little he has accomplished. Yes, this wasn't a renegotiation. Yes, it's still funny you had to give coach a raise after a 5 loss season
"8-5 is worthy of a raise."
-U of M fans
Is a UCLA fan really commenting about 8-5? The Bruins would throw a parade if they could consistently win 8 games a year.

Stupid U of M even wrote that into the contract.

I keep telling people, Harbaugh is here for life.Good for him. Had thought he was going back to the NFL to coach though. Was hoping the Colts would be interesting in him being their next coach.
The old "A fan of so and so" shouldn't be commenting?
Weak sauce. Up your troll game, son.

Still won't matter. More people will be vocal but that won't matter.I don't think i'd go that far, the natives are already getting restless. 8-5 in year 3 was a pretty big letdown.
If he fails to beat Ohio State next year and doesn't get to the B1G title game once again, it's only going to heat up even more.

If you are ok with being a mediocre team with occasionally beating your rivals that is absolutely fine. But you don’t pay that head coach top 5 money to do so. Michigan should not be looking to fire him but they brought him in and is paying him and his staff top dollar and given them a blank checkbook to win conference titles and national titles. Michigan is not a 2nd or 3rd tier program in the minds of their fans, so finishing 7-6 to 9-4 every year would not be acceptable. They forced out the best coach they’ve had since Bo for doing that.Good for Michigan, they got their man, and by golly, they're going to stick with him. Colleges are way to quick to fire coaches these days when they don't "deliver" immediately. The facts are, odds of winning a Championship is reserved for so few schools in any given year.
If you can recruit decently, win more than half your games, beat the rivals about half the time, that should be good enough when you consider this is supposedly all about the Academics and the Student-Athletes.

There definitely needs to be a readjustment of expectations and what their program actually is. They have been a 3-4 loss team most years for the last 25 years. By listening to some Michigan fans, not just here but even in real life, they believe they are on the same tier as Ohio State and have been in contention for National titles nearly every year for the last 50 years. They are a Tennessee. Great back before there was face masks on helmets but above average since WWII.Maybe it's time for them to re-adjust their program priorities.
Nebraska probably should, too
My condolences sir..I keep telling people, Harbaugh is here for life.
