Yeah, Peppers next to Cravens is kind of redundant.
peppers is an athlete now he played 11 positions on the team so him being a FS isnt a stretch , however adams might just be better at FS then a peppers

If the scheme is right. A little light to be a true NT imo, but would look good next to Baker. Speaking of Baker, it would.not surprise me if he is allowed to leave. Shouting match with Barry, from all accounts was out.of shape in a contract year, and was.asked to play NT and refused. I could see Scot taking that 6 mil or whatever it would cost to bring him back and spending it elsewhere.

he could be a DE in our 3-4 or a quick DT in the 4-3

That's true, but if we stay in a 34, I'd rather just slide Murphy down opposite Baker and draft a fast disruptive OLB, and sign a NT. JuSt my preference.

I like what I saw from Adams in the bowl game, and I would love the pick but part of me thinks we might need a vet back there next to Cravens. Maybe Wade brings Stewart with him or Bradley brings Crypien? Big dude though.

If we get Gus Bradley, we'll likely get Jon Cyprien. That'll be an intriguing duo with him and Su'a Cravens.

Anyone think we end up with Joe Mixon? Somebody mentioned the other day that smgm gives people second chances and has his guys at rb. And they guy is Fournette, cook level talented.

I actually like Joe Mixon. I didn't like what he was caught doing at the store to that woman. I saw him vs. Auburn and a few other games. I like the way he runs.

Yeah, he plays sideline to sideline, something Compton and Foster just aren't capable of.

He makes plays at the LOS. That's big for me because you can make tackles all day long, but if a RB is getting 10 yards and a tackle is finally made by the LB, what good is that!?

What I like about Cunningham, Harris, and Brantley is that they appear to play fast and with a ton of emotion. Our defense is so slow across the board. Even Norman, and Breeland have trouble with go routs.

Absolutely, this young man despite his off field troubles has done everything right in response to his mistake. On the field he has it all, size, strength, speed, and ability to be a threat in the passing game. He is also a capable blocker but does need a little work...just a little, in order to be that every down back. The interesting thing about my knowledge of him is, that originally I began watching OU because of their other RB Perine and this guy just left that WOW impression. Probably the second best RB in the entire draft.

Yea not sure how to feel about him when you throw in the off field stuff that's pretty bad but he's talented that's for sure.

Hello Sty remember me, an OU alumni. I briefly discussed Mixon and Perine last wk before our Monday night game with Auburn. As I said Joe is a better all round back than Perine. Joe is 6 foot 1 and 225 can even line up as a slot receiver. He is a red shirt sophomore . Yes he can play 2 more yrs at OU but has decide to enter the NFL 2017 draft. Unfortunately Joe will look like another Ray Rice which is not fair b/c he is a good kid. We never had any problem with him at OU except for this one incident. Everyone saw the tape of him hitting that lady (Molitor) but many people are unaware what occur before he hit her. Now Joe is not crazy so she did something. That something is the lady's (male) gay friend exchanged insults outside a bar. He called Joe a word that rhymes with trigger. Molitor jumped in and pushed and slapped Joe and that was it. The young men went crazy. He was kick off the team for 1 yr then returned and he's been catching hell ever since. However he will be kind of a black ball in the NFL. Joe could be had on day 2 or 3 of the draft. Hell it wouldn't be surprise if he goes undrafted. What ever the case may be it will be hard for many NFL teams to give him a chance b/c of all the hate groups. But if they give him and inch he will take a mile. He is an extraordinary talent.

Boomer therefore I am a Sooner

No problem huh? Did you see that vicious punch. No thanks. I put my $1 on he didn't decide to go into the draft until they told him it would be a good time for him to leave. One more outburst and he becomes Ray Rice, a RB without a team.

Dalvin Cook. Some scouts have him rated higher than Fournette. If he's there at 17, there will be a bunch of people in this board who will be on suicide watch. Outside chance he's there at 17. Can you pass on him?

It would be really, really hard to pass on Dalvin Cook at 17. I would not fault them at all.
