Please do not tell me we are going to get no offense against Randall Delgado.

I thought the unedited comment was more fitting.

Had the Reds picked up DJ from the cubbies, who would you have dropped from the 25 man John?

I just decided to stop using the word fuck that often.

:wtf2:

Dropping from the 25-man ... I'd have sent somebody (Ondrusek) back for 2 weeks and then wait for the callups.
The deal with DeJesus is that he is a free agent this year. I like the guy but that's not universally agreed on.

There is comfort knowing that the Reds won't lose on a walkoff HR tonight.

Why does it seem like Bruce just stops paying attention?

It could be worse. Check out the Texas-Houston game.

That 8th inning is what annoys me about the Reds. Bruce and Cozart seemed like they were not interested.

You watch some of Jay's AB's and he looks like he's just going through the motion. Other than Votto, Choo and maybe Hanigan, I think we can say that about most of the hitters on this team. Looks like they're up there trying to get their swings in like it's batting practice. Having a plan isn't this teams strong suit.

Cozart is absolutely helpless against a guy with a decent breaking ball. Fortunately, though, he was interested in playing defense in the ninth. That was a brilliant DP he started there, possibly a game saver.

Watch the Cardinals hitters ... they don't walk much. But they drive the ball.
I can't believe Molina keeps getting 3 hits every game.
The Reds? If we're lucky, Dusty conjures up a big inning.
There isn't much lineup churn with the Reds.

A couple very nice DPs tonight. The one Votto started earlier in the game was nice, 3-6-1.
The Cozart to BP was a gem, don't expect to turn two on that ball.

No mistake, the Reds have a very talented team. There is a lot to like about this outfit, as much as I bitch and moan. IF the hitting was a LITTLE more consistent, this would be far and away the class of the NL-C.

Consistent hitting is the only downside to this club because the pitching is outstanding. In fact, I would take the Reds staff over the Cards or the Pirates. The defense is outstanding and has been all year long for the most part. I think we had one game with 4 errors and that was because Hannahan was playing 3rd base with a turd crossways up his butt. Yet it is the hitting or lack of consistent hitting that has been the plague of this team all year long. The most concerning aspect of this is that they don't seem to be getting better.

Seems like moving Frazier into the 2 spot has helped the guy.
Does this mean Dusty has become a genius?
