ND's ACC foes: 2014-Home: UNC, UL, Wake; At FSU, SU; 2015-Home: BC, GT; At Clem, Pitt, UVa; 2016-Home: Duke, UM, VT; At: NCSU, SU
VT screwed again. Guess it would have been too much trouble for the ACC to swap VT and UVA in this schedule. Oh, I get it....all the teams rumored to be leaving the ACC (FSU, Clemson, UVA) get first dibs at hosting ND.
We couldn't play ND in 2014 or 2017 because we're already booked up in those years. And we already have home games with tOSU in 2015 and Wisky in 2016, so Weaver probably figured that would keep people happy enough and didn't really push for ND to come to Lane in those years. We don't have any good non-conf opponents lined up past Wisky, so we could use a home game with ND to keep season ticket holders happy in 2018 or so.
2016 is a long way away at this point. If things hold, though, it could be quite a schedule with Wisky and ND in the same year.
So does this mean people will stop bringing up things from WVU message boards saying the ACC's collapse is imminent?
I hope this is not accurate
I have heard from a good source that the ACC is about to lose two members. I will have to run this by him and get back to you all. Hmm.
And it's a B1G guy not dude of WVU, lol.
Hey, I'm with you. Just asking the source. I didn't think his rumor made a lot of sense at this point.
Looks like the ACC survives. Now lets get a GOOD 16th team.
