Was trash. I don't get trading down getting a 5th round grade WR.

Yeah..... Not too sure a WR from N. Illnois or a CB that runs 4.7.

Wish Tpaul was here to set my pessimism straight with "our GM gets paid to do this speech".

Agree. I hope Davis and Tabor are studs. 6 picks today. Need some steals.

Golladay replaces Boldin. Big and sure handed.

I can understand everyones concern cause, you know, God forbid we draft a WR that can actually catch and beat press coverage. We should have gotten that midget from WA who runs a 4.1 so we can watch him get his ass kicked and spend most years on IR.

Speaking of 3rd round picks, Love with the Pats did with our 3rd rd pick. Garcia is underrated and can be a starter for a long time.

Everyone saying hes s project? Love the size and hands. Walter gave it a D. Said it was a bad pick. Idk.

It was early IMO. I had him a mid round 4 to early round 5 pick so they are not wrong in that respect.

My guess is that since WRs went earlier then expected, BQ didnt want to wait a few more picks. I would have taken one of the DTs I mentioned in Todays thread and took Golladay with the first round 4 pick. Still probably would have only gotten a C grade there but its all about draft flow. Very easy for me to criticize because I have the luxury of not having to make the final decision.

I see improvement. A decade ago, we would have taken him in the top five picks.

Drafting Golladay as a 3rd round comp pick versus hoping he's there at #124 isn't a big deal, imo.

Gandy stated it perfectly regarding BQ's picks. He gets his guy even if it appears to be earlier than where the prospect is projected to be drafted.

He needs to build some strength up. He had issues at times getting separation facing man press and that's against non pro guys. Maybe Marvin can teach him, oh wait never mind.

I do the same thing on Madden.

Seems like a guy that will need to develop we could have plugged a hole with the pick.

I agree with you but someone else doesn't agree with me agreeing with you or he wouldn't have been drafted.

tbh, I liked the LaTech WR Carlos Henderson in this spot for a WR but would have preferred 2 dozen other players than Golladay.
