And that was a train wreck if I remember correctly

He only made 2 errors in LF, sure it was only out of 5 chances but a .600 fielding percentage is like what?, better than 50% lol

If a lefty comes in he will get the pinch hit opportunity replacing Miller i would assume.

The kid has showed that he has control of his emotions so don't be surprised if he gets the chance late in the game. Speaking of Duran when he hit that 3 run triple the other night did you see Calhoun's reaction in the dugout???

He was beating on the handrail screaming "phuck yeah, phuck yeah"... :laugh3: :thumb:

You can tell he wants to win (which is contagious) or was proud of the kid coming through in the clutch or both...

You know Smith may have played OF before he was drafted like all kids do before they finally find their niche. I went from 2B to P to CF (for most of my playing time) then back to 2B then P at the end. Depends on what spots are open with the teams you end up playing for...

The difference between a good player and a great player is: A good player plays for money and fun. A great player plays for love of game and money follows. Meet Adrian Beltre

They stuck Napoli in LF when he'd never played it before... :noidea:

:D
Napoli was the kind of player you could put at SS and he'd do his damnest to make every play. not every player has the natural ability to play a position he's never played or hardly ever played. Smith played 10 gamest in the minors do we know how well he did?

Depending on how much action he saw but I bet he passed the course.

16 chances 16 put outs. No Errors.
Not sure about his range, or read on balls. Can’t be too bad, he has some speed and a good Baseball IQ.

no argument but i would rather give more time to read on the balls hit in his direction instead throwing him to the ML wolves

It’s always great when fans from other teams come in to mix it up with us. You’re welcome anytime.
It is my pleasure!! My team isn't good enough to talk trash.
We kind of needed a good series with some blow out wins. Our bullpen has choked away about 5 games in the last 20 or so. We have coughed up some series that we probably shouldve won. Sorry
You need those easy series too ... enjoy!!! :suds:

Every team/player goes through stretches of good and bad... :noidea:
Yeah ... I ain't leaving my my team ... I am kinda a loyal person ... Riley Greene Day in Motown. That doesn't mean much to everyone else, but maybe it will.

If you're here for a bit ... Check out Greenfield Village and see some old time baseball.
