I have given a ball away but that was before people shamed you if you did not. Going to batting practice is fun predicting where home runs will go

It’s just not the same as an adult. When you grow up you lose certain things. Grown adults just don’t get excited about birthdays or holidays like they did when they were children. It’s comparable to that.

if I caught a foul ball or home run now, I’d probably give it to the closest kid.
