Didn’t say anything about Grossman or Miller but Smith looks overwhelmed at the plate. His play in the field is above average but over the whole season he is at Mendoza line. That’s why he was hit for on Tuesday during the rally in 6th inning.

Not saying Smith is the answer but if he took all Grossmans ABs., my guess there would be improvement with the results

Yep. After today's game Smith's OPS on the season will be 42 points higher than Grossman's. Haven't looked, but I imagine the difference would be at least twice that much since the beginning of .May.

I don't dislike any of them. Their talent level isn't a personal affront to me in the least. I would like to see the best lineups on the whole being used as it would lead to more wins. I do dislike losing for any reason, just like any other fan.

So far Bradford has given up two runs off three hits through four innings, three walks and eight strikeouts. I'll take it.

Not bad for a guy who languished in the pen for two weeks for no reason.
