I don't think Bochy believes Huff should be on the team. Somehow Huff, Burke and Smith have all become almost invisible at times with Bochy.

You mean like how he hit in May? I believe after that, his only three starts came with 7 games and 9 games between them. He went 0 for 9 in that stretch. That is the only bad stretch he had since his poor start in April. I imagine going 0 for 9 is not that uncommon, especially in those circumstances.

Didn’t say anything about Grossman or Miller but Smith looks overwhelmed at the plate. His play in the field is above average but over the whole season he is at Mendoza line. That’s why he was hit for on Tuesday during the rally in 6th inning.

Not saying Smith is the answer but if he took all Grossmans ABs., my guess there would be improvement with the results

Possibly but Smith would still probably only play 2 or 3 times a week. A Normal week would see Semien, Seager, Lowe, Garcia, Jung, Heim, Duran and Taveras playing virtually every game at 2B, SS, 1B, RF, 3B, C, LF/DH and CF respectfully. That leaves LF or DH depending on where Duran plays

Works for me. Get rid of Grossman & Miller and bring in some decent bench players but even then Duran will probably split playing equal time at LF and DH and jankowski will probably be exactly what you indicate OF defensive replacement.
