Derrick Johnson just got a NASTY hit on Bradford for the sack.

Who was it who had the extreme man-love for Johnson in college? Bingo? Yoshi maybe?

So how's Bustford, er, I mean Bradford doing?

Admittedly better than I thought he'd look. Not great; he had a good 1st quarter... But I'm certainly not jumping on that extremely crowded bandwagon with his 2nd lowest YPA in the NFL in the weakest division in the NFL.

Granted he didn't have any WRs, so he had to dump it off all season. I'll even give him a pass this year 'cause his team is still weak.

Ricky Stanzi in for the Chiefs. Nice first pass in between two defenders.

I think Bradford deserves a pass this year. He doens't have a very good receiving corps; they got Quinn, but they didn't add much else.

He has one of the best OC is in the NFL. He has one of the better young LTs in the league Rodger Saffold, a pro-bowl Center in Jason Brown, and a #2 overall pick at RT in Jason Smith. He has Donnie Avery, Mark Clayton, Danny Amendola, Brandon Gibson, and Danario Alexander at wideout and they added Lance Kendricks in the draft at TE. He also has Steven Jackson and Cadillac Williams at RB.

That's the best situation any second year first overall pick QB can ask for.

That's just the point though; it's his 2nd year. A QB deserves more time than that to prove what he can do. That's a good situation for a 2nd year QB, but the Rams are still a sub-par team.

That's right, McDaniels moved over to StL. It will be interesting to see how Bradford handles the change.

You originally said that you're giving him a pass because his team is "still weak", not because he's a 2nd year player.
