I was southieinnc there and never got banned on NFL boards. I had a penchant for irritating the crankn Yankees on the yankee board. Lots of spirited banter on the Ravens board but I didn't crap on the Ravens board.
The Indy board did not have a MOD - they were fair game. The Dallas board was so heavily full of trolls you could not even get noticed. They trolled themselves without deference! The Patriots board was perfect.....

Mods were not supposed to reveal themselves on there although some did....I'm sure the Colts had a mod, there were mods who worked all teams and some who just stayed home.....I was kidding about banning you though !!!

I remember True Niners too. Also there was a Nats fan in the early days of their existence that was relentless in his postings, but he was funny. Can't remember his handle.
Oh yeah, lol. I remember that guy, just not his handle since I was on the AL side of things. The Braves fans HATED him.

I was so happy the ESPN boards closed when they did. Had one person with about 30 accounts that would come on the Broncos board and just post and like everything they did from all of their accounts. I was impressed they could actually get in and out of accounts as quickly as they did. At times felt like he must have like 30 computers just surrounding him and was in a swivel chair going from computer to computer liking and responding to all of their posts. Most of them dealt with the greatness of Tim Tebow and how he was the savior of the organization. I guess in a way you could say that considering Elway knew he had to land Manning to get rid of the craziness that surrounded Tebow.

It was a fun board, but it went all Facebook. Could you imagine running about the streets screaming I am your friend, I was facebook, please be my friend, look at the things I eat and the places where I go. I was born on such a date in some place, blah, blah, blah.
Modern life is so complicated ...

I loved the board but towards the end they really did just not care one bit about keeping the trolls somewhat under control. They knew the board was going down anyway so might as well just go nuts.

That is very ambigious, what about all the other food? Be more Frank and fire up the grill.

Any football fan worth his salt knows TO always had his popcorn ready. As do I.

I don't usually eat while watching NFL anyway. The night games are après dinner and the rest are usually AM or early afternoon. Out here anyway.

Drinking and burning yes, eating not so much.

I went to a Grey Cup in 1994? in Vancouver and the Lions won.

But I hadn't watched the regular season for a while and the tickets were free. A local talk radio host (Dave Pratt??) wanted to brainwash me into liking the CFL again.

But I've blacked it out completely since, until this year. Once NFL starts up I'll likely do similarly again.

So the Lions do have a championship since 1957?

That's cute. Not very original but cute. Seems more likely the fair weather Ratbird fans are still hybernating going on 4 years now. Before that remind me were you a colt or brown fan?
