Only way the game doesn't mean much is if Pittsburgh goes 0-2 and New England goes 2-0. Doubt that happens.

This is true...scanning the standings, I think the tiebreaker right now is DIV record maybe...losing one of the those games would not make the week 15 outcome meaningless for either team.

Agreed Philly is the better team at this point in time but playing in Seattle is no picnic and still wrecks havoc on opposing QB's calling out signals. How much do you think Philly wins by?
10-14 is my guess

3 Players have changed the landscape of the league this season, one of them we didnt see coming

Watson with the Texans
Luck with the Colts (and Im not the biggest Luck Fan)
Rodgers and the Packers

We may be able to stretch it to

Zeke and Dallas
David Johnson and Arizona

Talking about all these teams that have gone from at the very least playoff contenders, some SB contenders, to completely unwatchable football

Thats a lot of contending teams that have become unwatchable at least IMO

Of course this is in addition to the already group of unwatchable teams
Not sure that's a stretch. Look at how AZ and Dallas have performed since these two haven't played.

Does Seattle lose their third straight home game? I don't think so.

If Seattle turns the ball over 2+x's and combine that with 10+ penalties, yes that score outcome could happen.
Anything can happen on any given Sunday. That's why tbey play the games. Philly just scares me on both sides of the ball. But, typical of a great NFL season they coukd put up a clunker just like anyone else. I hope that comes later. Sorry betting against your Hawks.

The tiebreaker right now is actually strength of victory. Divisional record is only taken into account within a division. It goes 1. Head to head, 2. Conference record, 3. Common games (minimum of 4), 4. Strength of victory.

But none of that matters because the Pats/Steelers will play head to head

When are you getting that? I think we are gonna hit 50 tomorrow. Psyched.

Probably exaggerating, you know me

But it's a comfy 45 now heading towards 50

Yesterday had to hit near 60

Practically indian summer here yesterday...68, and we're looking the same for the next 4 or 5 days...64 to 68...ideal! But Ole Man Winter will arrive in due time, no sense rushing him.

I will say...I hated living in Tampa during Xmas....it never felt like Xmas.

Noted Sox...thanks. The seeding only means truly means something when the playoffs start anyway and there are 2 games for both teams after week 15.

I hear that...I hate the cold, but something doesnt feel right like a warm/hot Christmas, and we have had a couple of them here in NY the past few years

Winters keep getting shorter and shorter around here, I remember as a kid Winter, real cold weather started late October/November.....Now we really dont get hit until January on the regular

True, but there's a good chance the 1 seed is going to be wrapped up in Week 15. Steelers go 1-1, Pats go 2-0, and Pats win Week 15, it's clinched. Or vice versa for the Steelers.

Unless the Jaguars run the table the next 3 weeks, in which case they would have a chance to be the 1 seed as they have the tiebreaker over the Pats (since 2 of the Jags losses are to NFC teams) and the Steelers (head to head win).

ATL's winter is really JAN/FEB...we normally have highs in the high 50s/low 60s into late DEC, then JAN/FEB highs are in the low 50s, with a handful of decent golf days mixed in there. Then mid/late March the early stuff is blooming again.

I hated the wind up there...especially funneling in between the sky scrappers in lower Manhattan, right on the water in Battery Park City...bone chilling!
