Funny, no one believes in the Eagles

Me either for some reason

The Eagles have a few quality wins...but as the season is unfolding I think it's safe to say their best win was @ CAR.

I like what they bring, and they are heading toward HFA thru out so I can see them representing the NFC...they would be my pick.

AFC...it's PIT vs NE...I know where you are leaning in that one, but I'm not conceding anything to NE.......yet.

IMO PIT has better talent, NE has better coaching. If PIT wins week 15, they will win the AFCCG, if they lose week 15 and NE has the 1 seed...they will win the AFCCG. Bottom line the 1 seed in the AFC will play in the SB imo.

Horrible because 4-7 teams in the AFC still have a reasonable shot to make the postseason

Mathematically maybe, but reality, none of the 4-7 AFC teams have a snowball's chance in hell of making the playoffs.

Well, I knew his angle was that i was shitting on the league because is Eagles are great and the Giants suck, and that wasnt really my angle at all...I just really believe there are more bad teams than i can ever remember

I have not much reason to doubt them, I just have hesitation for some reason

As far as Pitt/NE, you know my take is the only thing that would make that interesting is if Pitt can get that AFC title game in their backyard..Id actually be willing to give that a 50/50 chance....I just wont ever believe them heading to Foxboro in that spot and winning, although as usual, I will be pulling for it hard

I don't know. I watch Seattle struggle against so many weak teams I just don't feel they keep it that close. Philly's offense has too many weapons. Their D is fast enough to keep RW in the pocket. The LOB is the Legion of ByeBye. The Clink is no longer the place it once was. The past few years Sea was dominant at home now not so much. So unless Philly turns the ball over quite a bit I see Philly by two scores.

Agreed Philly is the better team at this point in time but playing in Seattle is no picnic and still wrecks havoc on opposing QB's calling out signals. How much do you think Philly wins by?

The think if we went DIV by DIV, I think we're going to find maybe 1 or 2 surprises of teams we thought would be better than they are. Obviously your Giants, major injury, GB, major injury. DAL, lost Zeke to suspension.

I'm overlooking somebody I'm sure, but for the most part the teams we thought were going to be contenders...they are contending.

3 Players have changed the landscape of the league this season, one of them we didnt see coming

Watson with the Texans
Luck with the Colts (and Im not the biggest Luck Fan)
Rodgers and the Packers

We may be able to stretch it to

Zeke and Dallas
David Johnson and Arizona

Talking about all these teams that have gone from at the very least playoff contenders, some SB contenders, to completely unwatchable football

Thats a lot of contending teams that have become unwatchable at least IMO

Of course this is in addition to the already group of unwatchable teams

Steelers...I actually like them a little better than 50/50 at home in the AFCCG, but much like you I don't have much confidence of them winning in NE. Tomlin takes all these losses from NE as the HC should, but Haley is getting his butt raked over the coals in the games he has been the OC vs NE.

If the OFC plays as well as they did vs GB, the Steelers are going to be a tough out in this playoff but Haley can draw up a stinker just as easily as he drew up a good one the other night.

This is that 'Watch out' Game coming Monday for them, I think we discussed it

For the sake of this entire football season, I just hope we arent stripped of the importance of that Week 15 matchup in Pitt, its about all I have left to look forward to this season

That's true, but you get a TN, a JAX that are not traditional playoff teams. Who thought the Rams would be contending?

IND hasn't been doing much with Luck playing...2014 was their last winning season. AZ I had as a contender, but QB and RB losses so yeah that's another one. I thought CIN would be a 9-7 type team...maybe they are underachieving a tad.

I think when we hit late DEC the teams moving on to JAN football will be playing pretty well in most cases...but week to week...this season does seem like there are more bad teams, but what is really happening is the depth is so razor thin in the NFL that 1 or 2 injuries can turn a quasi-contender (like CIN or BAL) into a mediocre team.

Seattle might have had a shot for HFA if Sherman, Kam and Avril were healthy. Still a playoff contender but SB run is probably out the door.

On a national level...yeah you would hope that game still has HFA implications. The good thing for PIT is both of these preceding games are against heated DIV rivals. CIN or BAL would like nothing better than to knock PIT out of the 1 seed and out of the DIV lead if they could pull it off.

Tomlin seems to be able to get them up for DIV games, primetime games against everybody but BB. A bit strange that Tomlin has already made mention of the NE game. He's taken some flak for looking ahead, but what he said is the truth...the path to the SB goes thru NE...they gotta face it.

I'll believe the Steelers can beat Brady/BB when I see it on the scoreboard with the clock reading 0:00.

True but SEA is still a playoff contender as you said.

If they can snag the division and get a home game they should win that but on the road in the second round would be about it. If they snag a WC, they'll play tough but fall short. I hope I'm wrong, just being realistic.

Only way the game doesn't mean much is if Pittsburgh goes 0-2 and New England goes 2-0. Doubt that happens.

What 4-7 team has a reasonable shot at the playoffs?

There are five teams in the NFC with at least 8 wins. A 10 win team might not make the playoffs. Sorry the giants suck but that doesn't mean the whole league does.

Well NE is going 2-0

I agree the Steelers should at least split Ravens/Bengals, but not the layups
