Oz turned us down going to test the market . I say pull the offer and look else were . If he don't want to be a Bronco Fk him . If it is only money he has no clue .. As a QB you want a team that is solid

Good bye Don't let the door hit you in the ass ..
I sorta agree oz better know his market because I can't think of another player where Elway got into a bidding war
Elway and kubiak can't think of another combo I'd rather have trying to find our next qb

To be fare to Oz he had to wait maybe he is just giving what he received .. He still has not said anything..

So there is hope .. I bet he will at least give an answer ..

he has until Monday IMO .. if not I would not wait a second longer

Trade the 49ers then ...let Oz eat that paper dream there is not a lot of teams interested him .. I think he would lose money if we do a trade because teams know they then can actually low ball him with two other QB's out there ..

Calculated Market Value

Pretty cool found this ..

Brock Osweiler

Crazy. That's what I said he was worth. 1yr 10mil. This is EXACTLY what I've said all along and why Brock was a mistake IMO. It was not good use of a 2nd rd pick, probably cost us the first super bowl (RW not on Seattle or better def. player etc) but the 1st Sb led us to this. All good. But nonetheless here we are with an unproven qb who wants starter money. He didn't accomplish anything at asu and hasn't accomplished anything yet in nfl. He has good physical skills and seems like a good kid but this is elway a first qb evaluation. He's going to handcuff the franchise for his pride.

Well - I don't blame him for asking for starter money - let's see where Brock goes when it is apparent he is not getting his ask. Good find by Crash - on the salary - makes sense to me as well for a value.

I've been saying $12 million, but the real value of any NFL contract is not the reported one, but the length of the contract divided into the guaranteed money of the contract.

The Broncos have offered Osweiler a three-year contract proposal that is worth more than $45 million, NFL sources told 9NEWS. Osweiler can become an unrestricted free agent at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The market begins with a “soft” opening Monday where free agents can talk to other teams to gage interest and their value.

The Broncos’ $45 million-plus package includes incentives. Typically, some incentives are more makeable than others. It’s not known how much of the package is fully guaranteed, but still the offer could be deemed strong considering Osweiler has but seven NFL starts.

Renck is saying that the offer is 3/$39 - and the other $6MM is incentives. That sounds about right to me- but don't think that will get a deal done...

Yeah that sounds about right. I've also heard the guaranteed money was not that great. Pretty much the 1st year is guaranteed but beyond that was very little. I would say it is about a 50/50 chance he is back as our QB this next year.

Texans are reportedly going to contact Oz's agent. I suspect that they are prepared to offer more than what Denver has offered.

Also just to add this to the equation...If the Broncos were to sign either Kaepernick or RGIII instead of Osweiler they would be getting a 3rd round pick out of the deal next year that is tradable.

I'm hearing the Jets, Rams, and Browns are also contacting his agent.

Hadn't seen that, but it doesn't at all surprise me. I think that Oz is most likely finished in Denver. Elway's comments, along with history, suggest that he's not about to get into a bidding war.

Traditionally, the Elway led Broncos won't enter into mega bidding wars but this is slightly different. They are the defending World Champions and don't have a quarterback locked up. Oz was Elway's hand-picked future, so I still think that there's wiggle room. I think the Broncos might go as high as 14m/year for 3 years but not much beyond that. Unless teams go over the 15m mark and get into the higher teens, I still believe that Brock would rather remain in Denver with a quality team around him. We'll know a lot more in the next few days.

Well from the sound of it the Jets are not close on a deal with Fitzpatrick so they are willing to let him hit the market and see what else is available. I would also say that since the QB class is deeper than first thought it could drive down the value just a bit. No reason to get into a bidding war when you have other options that could produce similar numbers.

These teams that are courting him are all the same they could not developed a wet dream hart on to save there life let alone a QB if he is going for instant money then knows in a year or two he will be a back up ..let him get after that .. I want a player that wants to have a HOF carrier in Denver .. If he does not believe in him self and is all about that first contact he is not worth wasting our time on .

If I was him I would not waste my time on teams like the 4 listed ...I would want a team I beloved in

All those teams have went though how many QB's starting in the last 5 years ...I bet 15 to 20 if not more ..

He looks bad in my eyes .. I hope he is thinking a little more than money .. With winning comes mega money ..

Werder says that Brock isn't a fan of Kubiak's offense...
