Well boys 1st game unranked hopefully an nice win on Saturday could get us to 25 maybe...

HERE ARE SOME THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT SATURDAY.

1. Notre Dame comes in as a 19.5 Favorite against Duke
2. It will be another game with Brian VanGorder
3. Defense will most likely struggle again... But should be a good recap week.

3. Defense will most likely struggle again... But should be a good recap week.

I think ND would need to win back to back games to get back into the Top 25. Then a Big win against Stanford gets us back into the top 15-20 range and then a win against Miami gets is in the 11-15 range. We win out we are in the Top 10 going to a Big bowl game.

Or possibly *possibily* a Playoff run *POSSIBLY highly highly highly doubtful* but hey you never know if we are in a good spot in the rankings at the end of the season and other teams are shaken up never know but yeah a big bowl game is at least the goal right now.

Don't think ND gets in the top 25 unless they beat duke, Syracuse, and Nc state handily. Back to back wins against Stanford and Miami would be pretty impressive and would completely turn the season....although McCaffrey may have 400 yards himself.

There were 21 teams in the final top 25 last year with 2 or more losses. 11 with 3 losses and 3 with 4 losses. There is a long way to go.

I think ND has to prove they can beat a ranked team before voters put them back in the top 25. Side note, watching Wisconsin vs Michigan state, the badgers put more pressure on the QB in the first 2 drives than ND did all game. Have to do more with all the talent the Irish have.

I believe Duke has a redshirt frosh at QB today. I think he struggles today.
