I think y'all will be in Orlando. I don't see them taking NC State and their interim coach, a 6-7 triple option team, or Duke.

Atlanta - Clemson
Orlando - VT
El Paso - GT (if given a waiver)
Charlotte - NC State
Nashville - Duke (unless bowls can get out of the ACC tie in)

This is how I see it too.....probably vs Louisville.

Now its going to be interesting seeing who you guys and NC State end up playing. What order will the Big East be selected?

Louisville will probably be in the BCS and then will the bowl committee choose to have a rematch between Cincy and VT or if not who would they take between Rutgers and Syracuse? Of the two teams that are then left which team would be more enticing to go to the Belk bowl and play against NC State?

Yikes. N. Illinois! Shocked they got in there. The Orange Bowl has to be absolutely pissed. Lucky for them Fla. St made it. The stands there would be much like a Hurricanes football game. Then again, can't imagine the FSU fans will be pumped for this one, so who knows if they will be able to even come close to filling the place half-way up.

That was the Northern Illinois schedule. Now I realize the ACC is battling it out with the Big East for the worst BCS conference but it's a shit ton better than that trash. No way they deserve a BCS bowl. The team they beat out for their conference title, Kent St., has an even poorer resume. They got destroyed by Kentucky for instance

The schools approved this system and the human polls voted to make them eligible. Why cry for Oklahoma the one time their name doesn't give them what they want? I agree that that is the rules set in place by the system..and comparing the VT team last year AND this NIU is not fair..Because of this schedule fooz gave us.

Their best wins are a 1 point win against a 4-8 Iowa team, a 7 point win over a 1-11 Kansas team. They have some nice teams in the MAC, but BCS nice?? Nah. Don't think so. They will probably get flat out embarassed, that is if FSU can even get "up" for this game.

Does NIU deserve a BCS bid? With that schedule they played, questionable, but they are in a BCS bowl regardless of what we think.

I was just saying I'd rather be playing Rutgers than NIU, playing NIU (esp in the Orange Bowl) is a lose-lose situation. You win and hooray you beat a MAC team who has beaten no one and arguably should not be in the BCS, not an ounce of respect gained.....you lose, and well...you get laughed at for years, over rated, blah blah blah

I agree - with the schedule that NIU had this year, they do not deserve a BCS bowl bid and it makes the ACC look even shittier hosting such a bowl.
