Yeah, because the Boston accent is easily digestible lol.

True I can't understand the ones from Southie. Everyone understands, " youse get over there and line the fuck up"

You need to get out of that place sonny, it's full of Chuckleheads that eat clam chowdah and ride around in their old beater cah fah daze.....
I guess it's the north vs the south again !!!!:heh:

Clam chowder is good, especially Manhattan red. I don't eat meat on Fridays during lent, so fish or chowder it is

Peyton it was a great run and fun to watch. Gonna miss the rivalry with Brady, but all things like Magic/Bird Ali/Frazer have to come to an end. First ballot HOFer and a classy guy

Gonna miss King One-And-Done. Oh dammit I can't say that any more.

Gonna miss calling him King One-And-Done.

Glad he went out on top, but if not for the Pitt RB fumbling the ball, would have been his 10th 1 and done. Kudos Peyton

Well damn it! Who's going to be the worst QB in football now?

And will he help his team win the SB, like the previous "worst QB" in football just did?

Yeah if he has his defense playing out of their minds.

I think credit can be given to Peyton in both the AFC championships and Superbowl for doing what he could do to help Denver win. He definitely did that and deserves his ring. But obviously it was the defense that was real factor and without a stellar performance by them, Denver would have lost both games.

Anything less than that and Peyton would look tragic on the field. He did the right thing.

Can't we say that about pretty much every Super Bowl Champion though? I mean it is the playoffs where one or two plays decide most games. Your Super Bowl the year before...if the Seahawks run the football instead of pass it maybe they are back to back Super Bowl Champions. If the Ravens didn't turn the ball over the 2nd half of the divisional round then who knows what happens in that game. Just part of the equation when it comes to winning a Super Bowl in you do have to get a couple of lucky breaks to go your way.

We don't have an accent.

We were here first.

That accent didn't come from Europe, wasn't inherited from the indigenous people already here, and can't be traced back to the vikings.

It's actually perfectly understandable compared to the various southern dialects. The so called "Boston accent" is media driven. The whole slurring of the R thing vanishes as you move west 30 miles to start, and nearly gone at the 50 mile mark.

The cleanest accent, if you can even call it that, was southern MN. Nearly perfect English as is supposedly expected. (All though some towns will throw in an occasional "Uff da".)

But keep falling for it.

Southie FTW

I agree about 1 break or a bounce, but the entire season was that way. I can't remember a D winning so many games for a team, when it looked like it was a loss. KC game and Balt come right to mind along with many others. Congrats on the SB, I don't think there was any luck behind their road. Pat's had 2 unlucky breaks vs Giants and then had a lucky one last year

Damn. Haters just gotta hate, I guess.

Brady-Manning has been one of the great rivalries in all sports. We've had the pleasure of being able to watch it.

Too bad for those of you who are such homers that you can't appreciate the great players and teams of the game just because they're not from your home town.

I was cheering for the Broncos in the Superbowl. It was fitting that one of the greatest players to ever put on a uniform, any uniform, went out on a high note.

Thanks for the memories, Peyton.

It's so easy to hate both ways though! That's what made this an even bigger rivalry.

Great memories from Peyton and I wish him the best of luck in what ever he does... Guess this means we will see even more Papa John's commercials
