Got 2 big games this week.

January 20th @ Philadelphia Flyers

January 21st vs Chicago Blackhawks

I see us going 0-2 this week, hope I'm wrong, but this team hasn't shown me that they could win big games.

Eh, I don't see this team as deflecting blame. That's a standard line to the press, not an actual excuse.

They need to start the game dumping and chasing, hammering the philly defense, which is out a bunch of NHL caliber guys. Something they refused to do against the Rangers for whatever reason.

I don't really look at the records when the 2 teams go up against each other. For some reason they play their very best when they play against us. IDK, I just don't have a good feeling about this one. MAF will have to steal this IMO.

Yeah, it's the Flyers and they are the Pens bogey team, but those things change really fast. Pens killed the Flyers early in the Crosby years, both during the regular season and playoffs, then it all flipped with one series, nothing to suggest this can't be step 1 to a turnaround.

Meh, win...don't win...the pens suck. My expectations are deflated by watching this crapfest. And I heard coach is splitting goal duties these two games so I don't know who is in goal today.

Honestly if we can't beat the Flyers what else do we have now? I think it's very important to beat the Flyers.

Farnham called up, assume he'll be taking Sill's spot on the 4th line. Better forechecker for sure, like to have his attitude in the lineup against Philly as well.

Awful pp against the worst pk in the league. Team absolutely refuses to play on one side of the ice with puck support, the entire team is obsessed with diagonal play in the offensive zone.

Crosby, Malkin, etc don't have a clue how to posses the puck.

Terrific play/goal shorthanded by Kunitz after a stupid penalty by Adams.
