I didn't watch last nights cluster and I won't watch the Sen's game...which the Pens should win

Really what was the point of firing Disco? We're basically the same team anyways. Only difference is that MAF is better and Sid is worse.

All about the playoffs, regular season is just a warm up. Disco showed he was a terrible playoff coach.

:agree:

Bylsma won the Cup the first year, but he used an uptempo version of Therrien's system. When he used his own system they stunk.

Kind of wondering what is up with Sid. He had a wide open net and he hit the post.

True, but if we play like this we'll be gone in the 1st round :L

For the first time ever, I have absolutely no faith in Sid to make a play :bawling:

Heck of a problem to have when the player everyone complains about not producing is tied for the league lead in points...

Don't get me wrong, I love Sid to death, I would gladly take a bullet for him if I had to, but he hasn't looked himself as of late. And it's not just the points (or lack thereof), it's the way he's playing. All he does now is pick up the puck behind the net, skate along the half boards, then turns it over while forcing a pass thru the slot. IDK, just doesn't seem as dynamic as he used to look. I'm rather concerned.

Those forced passes drive me crazy. He used to make them all the time, but now he just can't seem to click on them like he used to. Maybe his vision is getting blurry from a recurrence of concussion like symptoms.

Maybe we should start a poll. What do you think they will say in wrong with Sid?

Hate to say it, but I think Sid has been figured out.

Agreed. Body him and expect him to always look pass and not shoot...let him be a poor man's, very poor, Adam Oate's.

When is the last time we have ever seen Skid take control of, or over a game?!

The next time will be the first!

I don't think Sill's hit was even a penalty, much less a major. Good kill on that one by the Pens.

Also, Klinkhammer is aptly named. Boy can hit.

Anderson's been good. He's made some tough saves. The blocker save on Crosby in the slot, and that save on Maatta right on the doorstep stand out to me in particular.

Geno finished like Mario against John Casey. That was a great goal.

No way Fleury saw that shot coming in. Might have changed direction, too. Looked like it started wobbling.

Scuderi failing to clear when he had the chance cost them.

That was a surprising burst of speed from Klinkhammer to draw the penalty.
