Glad to see Kris Letang back in the lineup and looking forward to seeing what Jayson Megna can do in the NHL, but I really don't like seeing Zatkoff in net against a team like the Islanders. We saw Zatkoff get lit up against the Panthers, Islanders have a way better offense, I think we'll have to score at least 5 goals to win this one. Doob picks the Islanders to win 5-4. Hope the Pens prove me wrong tho.

The Doobster hopes to see a fireworks tonight, we didn't play well in front of Zatkoff the last time, maybe it wasn't all his fault. At the same time, Islanders are a way more potent offense than the Panthers, so good luck to Jeff Zatkoff, he'll need it.

Offense hasn't been a problem. The defense could be an issue. The top pair of Hamonic & MacDonald played half the game last time out. The goaltending of late has been awful.

That's the plan. I guess Cappy wanted to show faith in Nabby after a horrible performance against Vancouver. Nabokov hasn't faired well against the Penguins in the past so Poulin better be ready. I find it interesting that Anaheim has signed Anderson to a 1 way deal. The Ducks have three NHL goalies & Gibson in the AHL. Talk about loaded in goal. With the injuries that have taken place maybe Hiller will be the odd man out since he's an UFA. We shall see I guess.

I like the Isles' powerplay scheme, by the way. Lots of rotating support. They open seams by moving through them.

And the Penguins score just about their own powerplay. Great play at center ice to get Sutter room entering the zone, and Jokinen buries the rebound.
