Anyone got more info on him. I heard he has meningitis?? Hope he gets well. Cool kid too. I follow him on twitter and he actually followed me back and gave me a shout out when I wished him well. Anyone got more info in ND land??

Was hospitalized with a "brain infection." Was actually in stable condition last couple of days. Some think it might just be a severe sinus infection. He'll be hospitalized for a few more days, but is otherwise expected to recover. I hope it was not meningitis. That disease is scary.

I've heard no specifics on his situation, but it's pretty scary. Even his teammates seemed really confused as to what it was and how bad it was. Prayers go out to him and his family.

The long snappers tweeted that it was serious then walked it back and said he'll be fine. The local papers were saying he's expected to fully recover.

Just heard he has been released from the hospital. They said it was viral meningitis (not bacterial). He should be back on the field in a few days. Sounds like good news for the guy. Maybe prayers work.

Meningitis, viral or bacterial, is some scary stuff. Obviously, bacterial is much more dangerous.
