I'm a little surprised. I didn't think they'd make the Panthers go through watching the Broncos celebrate winning the Super Bowl to open the season. And frankly the Super Bowl wasn't such a great, compelling game to make it hard to wait for the rematch.

Very nice!
I've been waiting for this since the superbowl.....said by no one ever
I just got done watching the Mets watch the ceremonies. They didn't seem exactly thrilled to be there.
Yeah, this more than stewpit. Can't believe both leagues felt the need to schedule "rematches" for the World Series and Superbowl.
As if it's not bad enough to have lost the championship, but to be reminded of it again right out of the gate.
I can't remember the NFL actually having ever done this before. I honestly was shocked when I saw this.
Well, in MLB's case the schedule was released before the playoffs so that ended up being a coincidence more than anything.Yeah, this more than stewpit. Can't believe both leagues felt the need to schedule "rematches" for the World Series and Superbowl.
