First time in nearly 600 years (!) that a pope resigned, citing his health.
Ya I saw that. The man does not look well.
Something is up. Pope John Paul II was pretty much senile at the end of his tenure. I smell a conspiracy.
He already survived the priests molesting little boys scandal and the Nazi Youth scandal.
Not sure what they could have on him bigger than that to bring him down.

What he stands for is a conspiracy.
I'm very curious as to what is inside some of the literature deep within the Vatican.
I wonder if they decide to go with a young candidate, do a whole reworking of the Catholic Church. Wouldn't it make a ton of sense for them to pick a guy that is younger, charismatic and could inject new life into a dying religion and be the face of their cause for the next 30-40 years rather than trot out another white haired wrinkled face that will be gone in a decade?
