OT: I love my pet

Adorable. M? F? Get them spayed and neutered at about 5 months old.

Both female.

I'm no good with cat breeds (Dogs I know more about)...they are clearly both about the same age. Can they really be from the same litter though? They don't look alike at all. These lil fuggers do EVERYTHING together...eat, drink, sleep (sometimes laying right over top of the other) and...I kid you not...shit together in the litter box.

I would bet they are from the same litter. Our cats brothers and sisters were all very different. Ours was orange and the others ranged from black to striped.

I bet you are having a blast with those kittens. So fun to play with other than their little teeth and claws being as sharp as needles.

After Thanksgiving dinner, I threw a plastic Aquafina bottle cap onto a large area of tiled flooring. The cats have been playing air hockey for the last ten minutes. A couple of regular Pavel Catsyuks over here! I'm seeing some excellent passing as well as some fierce battles in the corners.

You need 1 of these, trust me, and a few scratching posts scattered around the house. Are they going to be indoor cats? Mine are as to me there's way too many bad things that can happen to outdoor cats these days.

They are too small to do any major damage yet. They already have a scratching post, too.

As for the kittens, I'd bet they're from the same litter. Most likely your vet will classify them as American short hairs. It's their way of saying there's no way to determine any specific breed. If there's a Petco near you, call them and see if they have a service called "Spay Wagon" at their store. We have them here in Mass and you pay about 1/3rd the cost. The good thing is they're both F so they won't spray, the bad news is they're a pain in the ass when in heat.
