That's a good point: They're designed to be a quick-strike offense, and if they're successful with points they put a tired defense right back on the field to face a sustained and punishing drive.

If your defense keeps getting run on like this and takes the shots Stanford's oline gives allows 4 to 5 yards on run plays, Stanford controls the clock it really doesn't matter how good your offense is playing.
